This is Why You Learned to Ride

Imagine a place where you can give it your all, with endless riding options. Imagine an incredible
variety of terrain to explore, from high alpine to scenic trails, with breathtaking views.

Best of all, this place isn't imaginary. It's Manson - and your ride is waiting. The mountains and
hillsides surrounding Manson and soaring over Lake Chelan are a rider's paradise, and where you
learn to love riding

Manson's biking experience isn't just for the experts and extreme riders. With a seemingly
endless variety of easy trails suited for beginner riders on the mountain and throughout the area,
and the paved Scenic Loop Trail, Manson lets everyone in the family ride together and enjoy
awe-inspiring scenery.  Finish the day with flair by soaking those aching muscles in a hot tub,
or sipping wine on a sunny patio. No matter what type of ride you're looking for, Manson has
a perfect biking adventure.

Trail Information

Bikers of all ages can choose from hundreds of miles of recreation trails and roads of varying
length and difficulty on the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests. There are low-elevation
trails in the sage-covered fringes of the forest (great for springtime and fall rides), trails in the
timbered zones, and high country trails traversing alpine terrain. Remember that wilderness
areas are closed to bikes. See the trails section for trails that are open for mountain biking.
Some of the more popular areas to ride are the Devils Backbone and Echo Ridge areas
(Chelan district). Contact the Ranger District office where you want to ride for more specific
information and maps.

The following information provided by the Chelan Ranger District.
